Not your usual Ukulele band
Rugbylele a covers band with some unique arrangements, that just happen to play ukuleles.
Rugbylele is run by Jo Foote and Pauline Thompson and was formed July 2019 after Jo asked Pauline to help her start and run a fun ukulele group.
Started out jamming
We soon realised we were not so interested in songs that other ukulele groups normally do and set about trying all sorts or genres. We have found our happy place, with skillful harmonies and non traditional ukulele playing.
Looking to the Future
We have gone from strength to strength and are even better than ever. We have funded our own moderate PA set up to enable us to be heard at the back! Setting our sights on even louder PA to be heard next door! Hoping for a UK tour and then the world.
